Hey Dark/Dak here with another picture! I decided to make a "simple" picture showing off the modifications I made to the Halo 3 Kig-Yar Jackal that was ripped and ported for garrysmod use.
What I did was change the armor colors to two different hues of black grey; which is supposed to be based off of the Kig-Yar jackals in my fictional faction/nation. Also I noticed some kind of purple..."thing" over their actual eyes according to the vtf file. So I copied the actual eye and put it over the purple thing and now they have eyes!
Unfortunately, the person(s) that made the original model available for use didn't give this beautiful alien any eye posing, so with their new eyes, they just look straight ahead, which is okay with me at the moment. Also, I did this modification to personalize the models for myself, and also no one has ripped and ported the Halo Reach Jackal Snipers and the Jackal minors and Majors, so this will have to do until that hopeful day.
Fun fact: See the purple lights on their helmets? I actually photoshopped that onto the helmet pieces, since no one made the lights a bodygroup.
As for the weapon load outs on these three, there is a Type 25 Directed energy pistol (far left), Type 31 Rifle (front middle), and Type 50 Sniper Rifle System (middle back).
Then just to make the sky less boring, I threw in a pair of Phantoms and three Banshees (the third one is behind the house basically thanks to the angle.).
Credit goes to Bungie, the multiple people that made the air craft, the people who made the original Halo 3 Jackal model, and me because I consider these guys in particular to be mine since I modified them.
